miniOrange SAML 2.0 SSO allows users residing at SAML 2.0 compliant Identity Provider to login to your Magento Store. This Extension acts as a SAML 2.0 Service Provider which can be configured to establish the trust between the extension and various SAML 2.0 supported Identity Providers to securely authenticate the user to the Magento store.

When the customer clicks on the IDP login link, he will be redirected to the Identity Provider to login. If login is successful, he will be redirected back to the Magento store and will be logged in automatically. If your identity provider knows the customer but Magento doesnt, settings allow you to automatically create the customer in Magento.

What is SAML 2.0 SSO?
Security Assertion Markup Language 2.0 (SAML 2.0) is a version of the SAML standard for exchanging authentication and authorization data between security domains. SAML 2.0 is an XML-based protocol that uses security tokens containing assertions to pass information about a principal (usually an end user) between a SAML authority, that is, an identity provider, and a SAML consumer, that is, a service provider. We support all known IdPs - Google Apps, ADFS, Okta, Salesforce, Shibboleth, SimpleSAMLphp, OpenAM, Centrify, Ping, RSA, IBM, Oracle, OneLogin, Bitium, WSO2, NetIQ etc.
